About Our SMS Messaging Program
1310 Connect is the official mobile app for the National Road Church of Christ congregation. As part of our communication tools, we offer optional SMS text message notifications to keep our members informed and connected.
Types of Messages You May Receive
- Announcements Church announcements and important updates
- Reminders Event reminders and schedule changes
- Prayer Congregation-wide prayer request notifications
- Urgent Time-sensitive or urgent communications from church leadership
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on church activities. You can expect to receive an average of 1-5 messages per week, though this may vary. Urgent messages are rare and reserved for time-sensitive matters.

How to Opt In
SMS notifications are entirely optional and require your explicit consent. To opt in:
Receive an invitation from a church administrator to join the 1310 Connect app.
Create your account and log in to the app.
Navigate to your Profile Settings within the app.
Under Notification Preferences, toggle the SMS Notifications option to enable text messages.
Ensure your phone number is entered correctly in your profile to receive messages.
Enable SMS Notifications in your Profile settings
Consent is required. SMS messages are only sent to members who have explicitly enabled SMS notifications in their profile settings. Your phone number is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using either of these methods:
Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us to immediately unsubscribe from all SMS notifications.
Or, you can disable SMS notifications in the app:
- Open the 1310 Connect app
- Go to Profile Settings
- Toggle off SMS Notifications

Privacy & Data
Your phone number and personal information are kept private and are only used for church communications through the 1310 Connect app. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
